Job Summary

As a Laboratory Clerk (Assistant)  for the Sample Management department located at the Laval site,  the  employee will provide general technical support within laboratories on company premises, as required. They will carry out duties according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) at all times.

In this role, responsibilities may include:

  • Receive or pick up samples from the facility
  • Prepare the required materials for the study conduct
  • Keep the samples well organized within the freezers and ensure proper documentation
  • Perform maintenance/cleaning of the fridges and freezers
  • Keep the working area clean and organized

Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role: 

  • Minimum High School Diploma is required
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and meticulous
  • English reading comprehension is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is preferred

Location: Laval / Shuttle service between Montmorency metro station and the Laval site, Free parking Schedule: Weekday schedule, Monday to FridaySalary : 16.25$/hPermanent position as of the hiring, full time 37.5hrs per week Why Charles River?

About Safety Assessment Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
