Job Description

As a critical member of the Global Sales Development & Enablement team you will work in partnership with regional training leaders, learning & development specialists, instructional designers and SME’s both in the regions and the commercial divisions to cultivate an environment that values continuous learning and provides an optimal learning ecosystem.

Success will be defined through training evaluation data, training-related sales performance indicators like proficiency & competency assessment, and other relevant parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

Increase availability and effective use of the digital learning ecosystem to enable the Sales Excellence Framework, and obtain key insights supporting data driven development to improve sales team performance.

Digital Content Creation and Maintenance

  • In collaboration with Global Sales Development Program Managers, design, develop, evaluate and maintain creative digital learning solutions for a Global Sales workforce that includes, but is not limited to, eLearning, micro-learning, podcasts, video, learning reinforcement activities, assessments, job aids and blended learning experiences.
  • Support the development of a global and regional training plans, adapting global initiatives to support regional needs, assessing the effectiveness of the current approach to training and implementing suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Help promote standard process sharing across divisional and regional training resources

Design:

  • Use variety of authoring tools to produce relevant eLearning modules, video content, and performance support materials for a global sales audience while applying sound instructional design methodology in the development of eLearning solutions with rich media such as: graphics, audio, video, animation, interaction, and games.
  • Support global build and adapt existing training materials to support curriculum that includes primarily eLearning, and also virtual and in-person training
  • Ensure that technical content can be translated into practical sales terminology focusing on value proposition / customer-centric approach.
  • Develop and implement assessments of knowledge proficiency & learning reinforcement across the curriculum using a variety tools.
  • Incorporate approved sales process and methodologies and professional learning resources to ensure balanced learning in sales skills and sales enablement tools curriculum.

Delivery:

  • Supports the implementation and delivery of sales training and onboarding curriculum with proficiency assessment and mastery certification as defined by the annual training plan via the web, and e-learning platform to complement classroom & virtual classroom delivery
  • Support development of role play and practical application scenarios across curriculum delivered through digital learning technologies

Digital Learning Technology

  • Responsible for the execution of content via our current Learning Management System (Docebo) and Learning Experience Platform (Intrepid) and developing future integrations to improve reporting of learner history.
  • Leads the implementation of new platforms in our learning ecosystem, such as Explorance Blue and Qstream.
  • Acts as a consultant to LSG, BPG, LP and LCD, LMS administrators to develop their knowledge and skills to ensure self-sufficient use of the platform
  • Actively working within the Docebo Governance Council to ensure our needs are met
  • Publish learning content, keeping records of registration and completion of learning activities, extract data and create standard and custom reports.
  • Track and analyze sales training program Key Performance Indicators and metrics to report on program effectiveness and inspire change in sales effectiveness.
  • Work with regional Sales Development & Enablement leads and divisional trainers to ensure coordination of calendars and optimize scheduling of training for commercial organization.

Minimum Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, communication, education, or equivalent field required.
  • 3+ years Learning and Development / Instructional design experience including content development (instructor-led and e-Learning course design and development) and experience with a variety of content authoring tools, for example Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Brainshark etc.
  • Demonstrated experience leading groups through a digital training evolution preferable.

  • Established independence and project leadership.
  • Ability to develop cross-functional relationships.
  • Passion for Learning & Development with strong communication & influencing skills
  • Experience with sales skills methodologies a plus
  • Demonstrable expertise developing digital training solutions using new technologies (such as AI)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • At ease communicating regularly with technical and commercial teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment supporting a commercial team
  • Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple sites
  • Solid technical and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international)
