Division / site informationPosition Summary:Reporting to the Sr Manager, Client Services Projects, the role involves delivering and developing high impact reports to support accurate budgeting and financial forecasting for clinical trial supply chains. The role will deliver value bydeveloping processes to gather and interpret information from a variety of sources, across multiple geographies to meet Client requirements in project budgets and forecasts. Alongside the Commercial aspects, the role includes directly supporting the CSS Operation business line, the role takes responsibility for managing and reporting the P&L and operational performance of the business line alongside the functional head within the assigned area of responsibility. The candidate will be responsible for developing metrics and analysis relevant to the current business requirements, acting as single point of contact and fostering close relationships with operational leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with Global Client Services &Planning team, clients to develop and maintain Budget Tracking and Forecasting
Perform revenue reconciliation queries, Quoting data and general budget questions. First point of contact with these tasks
Develop Power BI dashboards, tools, templates, and analytical models as needed to support consistency and quality across clients and Global Client Services & Planning management team
Develop metrics and analysis relevant to the current business requirements, acting as single point of contact, and fostering close relationships with Global Client Services & Planning team, Finance and Data Sciences team
Support the creation and use of supply forecast plans from internal or external source, documents and tools
Create & Maintain Revenue Forecasting Reports Globally for Global Client Services & Planning team
Lead Revenue meetings on a weekly basis, monthly or as needed basis with GCS&P Senior Management
Perform reconciliation for GCS&P Billing. Provide regularly updated of remaining Billing files to teams
Maintain Study Opportunity log (Pipeline) and ensure all Opportunities are included within revenue reports
Ensure all new Quotes are scheduled and revenue is included on Revenue Reports
Provide training for new starters around how to bill, how to forecast, how to manage Budget Tracking reports and services
Create and maintain Ad hoc reports and Quote Tracker
Provide recommendations for process improvements to business areas of support
Provide Revenue Reporting for Strategic Client for D&OP
Demonstrate the ability to promote the company vision
Conduct activities in a safe and efficient manner
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong quantitative skills, including use and analysis of data sets
Professional computer skills, including high proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Strong Power BI and data analytics skills and experience
Data Visualization skills
Advance Excel, Word and MS Project skills
Demonstrated financial acumen (AAT qualifications or similar)
Experience developing financial / business models
Proven experience of working in a financial or analytical environment supporting organizational aims
Experience in Salesforce; Quoting systems; Oracle CPQ
Strong Project Management Skills and ability to meeting tight deadlines
Highly IT literate
Customer focused
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a remote setting
Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting to management
Flexibility to work as required at busy times
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Science, Commercial Analyst or in related fields
Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills
Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma knowledge is preferred
