Job responsibilities:

  • Complete Basic Distribution Requests: Handle both internal and external customer distribution requests efficiently.
  • Assist Leadership: Support the Ambient Chain Shipping Supervisor, Group Lead, and all technicians in achieving common goals.
  • Maintain Warehouse Orderliness: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Provide Accurate Data: Supply precise data to internal and external customers when requested.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Principles: Apply these principles in all areas of responsibility.
  • Promote Company Vision: Demonstrate and support the company vision.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures: Adhere to all Fisher standard procedures.
  • Pick, Package, and Label Shipments: Follow the Distribution SOP and protocol instructions for all shipments.
  • Process Orders by Priority: Fulfill orders based on the priority set by the Distribution Leader/Supervisor to meet receipt dates.
  • Coordinate Transportation: Arrange transportation with approved carriers, accurately report billing arrangements, and document on the air bill.
  • Provide Tracking Information: Research and report tracking details to internal customers.
  • Close Out Carrier Reports: Complete carrier reports at the end of each day.
  • Verify Storage Conditions: Ensure shipments are stored under proper conditions.
  • Identify Improvement Opportunities: Look for ways to improve overall quality.
  • Load Couriers' Trucks: Load pallets onto couriers' trucks.
  • Maintain Warehouse Standards: Ensure the warehouse meets safety, neatness, and organizational standards per current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FCS SOPs.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily and work well in a team environment. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, is required when volume necessitates additional labor.

  • Education/Experience: We appreciate candidates with a high school diploma or GED, and equivalent experience will be considered. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a bonus.
