Job Description: Senior Manager, Generative AI Strategic Customer Engagements

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior strategy manager to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, Generative AI Strategic Customer Engagements in Carlsbad, CA, USA. In this role, you will have the outstanding opportunity to contribute to the creation of strategic plans, develop influential presentations, analyze market trends, and lead program execution for our genAI strategic customer objectives. As a genAI early adopter, your passion for applying this technology and guiding strategic programs with our internal partners and customers will be an asset to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the execution of genAI strategic customer programs, ensuring timely delivery within budget and defined objectives
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and success in generative AI engagements with customers
  • Build compelling and influential presentations to communicate the value proposition of our generative AI solutions
  • Conduct detailed analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
  • Work with various internal teams to coordinate and achieve strategic goals for genAI programs.
  • Take charge of the practical implementation of genAI initiatives, ensuring all goals are achieved and projects are carried out effectively.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience in strategy planning and customer engagement in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business, will also be considered.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Showed strength in program management, particularly in the realm of new technology applications
  • Early genAI adopter with a passion for using and sharing generative AI technology
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and develop practical plans by analyzing intricate information
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to create influential presentations for diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in conducting market analysis and competitive research to inform strategic decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse groups of colleagues from different areas of the company.
  • Strong capability to think strategically and implement projects at a large scale, while also providing tactical leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00–$150,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
