Warehouse Supervisor

We strive to make a difference to people’s everyday lives by bringing essential medicines to the market.  At Covance in we are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join our brand new expanding production site in Mechelen.

The main responsabilities Include but are not limited to:Ensure complete warehouse coverage and coordinate daily priorities to include responsibilities of the Warehouse Staff Prioritize and direct daily tasks and special projects for positions within their warehouse and inventory scope Provide coaching, supervision and feedback to subordinates Assist in the development, maintenance and update of departmental procedures and departmental training files as needed Run Expired Goods Reports with assigned frequency Investigate all expired goods with End-user or Procurement Facilitate accurate expired goods reporting Maintain min/max info based on usages from expired goods Coordinate Inventory Returns / Damage replacement New Item Set-Up Review and arrange inventory shipments between CLS fulfillment locations Provide leadership and work-related training for Warehouse staff Receipt Entry, Putaway Stock, Picking and delivery of stock, as needed. Education/Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent profesionnal experience required Certified to operate Warehouse fork trucks and order pickers where equipment is used Experience:min. 3-5 year Warehouse / Distribution Center inventory related experience Strong MS Excel Spreadsheet and MS Word Processing skills 4 years experience with Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system Very Good English written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
