Position Purpose:
The Consultant, Consumer Health, will be a key member of the team tasked with delivering high quality innovative sales and marketing intelligence solutions.
Projects are highly analytical in nature leveraging relevant information assets and cover a broad spectrum of areas including marketing and sales effectiveness, category management, innovation, digital, health care professional outreach and shopper and consumer related studies.
The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Works with the Associate Principal to execute on and create new consulting offerings or leverage global offerings for the Canadian market
- Participates in the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and development of proposals and delivery of solution for a variety of engagement types.
- Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis in the development of client specific solutions.
- Designs, structures, and delivers presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience with some senior input.
- May lead a small team of analysts to deliver client solutions.
- Build strong client relationships with a sales mindset
- Proactively develops knowledge of related consulting methodologies and the Consumer Health market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the global IQVIA Consumer Health Community
Education, Experience, Skills
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing/Business and/or related field.
- Strong academic record in undergraduate degree
- 3 or more years relevant experience in the CPG industry. Specific experience in consumer health an asset
- Previous experience in similar client facing roles an asset
- Previous demonstrated experience conducting analyses related to marketing and category management leveraging Nielsen data, IQVIA data, primary research, as well as other datasets
- Capable of independent decision making with a bold, nimble and collaborative approach to problem solving
- Strong analytical skills to derive meaningful recommendations from large complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver client solutions.
- Strong computer skills including Excel or Access, Word and PowerPoint.
- Adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
- Effective time and project management skills to work in a consulting environment with competing priorities and shifting timelines.
- Possesses the necessary subject matter expertise and project management skills to effectively manage projects across more than one practice area.
