Business Development Inside Sales Representative

As a Business Development Inside Sales Representative at IQVIA, you will engage target accounts early to maximize sales growth for multiple service offerings across all IQVIA business units consistent with the company’s strategy and objectives with focus on Australia, South East Asia and India. Responsibilities include:

• Identify and qualify leads and support in business development and sales activities, thereby contributing to new business wins.

• Prospecting and early engagement ahead of RFP to fill and maintain a critical pipeline sufficient to achieve revenue goals.  

• Successfully meet or exceed business targets by targeting and creating new accounts, identifying key contacts at targeted accounts, mass outreach to market segment, customized outreach to key contacts, create opportunities for RFP submission and revenues generation. 

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with keen interest in life sciences, ideally 2 to 3 years related experience in clinical research. Prior sales experience is an advantage.

• Works willingly and effectively with others in field sales, global sales operations and across the organization to accomplish team goals.

• Fast learner and problem solver.

• Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors.

• Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace. Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies.

• Good communication skills in English and another Asian language. Multiple language capabilities is an advantage.
