Krótka interwencja poznawczo-zadaniowa dla personelu NHS dotkniętego traumą związaną z COVID-19 (badanie GAINS-2) (GAINS-2)
Randomizowana, kontrolowana próba krótkiej interwencji poznawczej w celu wsparcia personelu NHS doświadczającego natrętnych wspomnień traumatycznych wydarzeń z pracy podczas pandemii COVID-19.
Personel medyczny pierwszej linii jest często narażony na traumatyczne wydarzenia w pracy (np. bycie świadkiem śmierci pacjentów), które są wzmacniane przez pandemię COVID-19. Znaczna część doświadcza natrętnych wspomnień tych wydarzeń, które nagle pojawiają się w umyśle: mogą zakłócać funkcjonowanie i mogą przyczyniać się do zespołu stresu pourazowego. Wcześniejsze badania wykazały, że krótka interwencja behawioralna może zmniejszyć liczbę natrętnych wspomnień po traumatycznym wydarzeniu. W tym badaniu przetestujemy efekt zadania polegającego na współzawodnictwie obrazami cyfrowymi, zadania cyfrowego słuchania muzyki i zwykłego leczenia (TAU) dla personelu Narodowej Służby Zdrowia (NHS) z natrętnymi wspomnieniami traumatycznych wydarzeń związanych z pracą podczas pandemii. Testujemy wpływ na liczbę natrętnych wspomnień (wynik główny) i inne objawy kliniczne (PTSD, lęk, depresja i bezsenność), oprócz funkcjonowania w pracy, ogólnego funkcjonowania i jakości życia (wyniki drugorzędne). Zbadana zostanie również wykonalność, akceptowalność i wdrożenie interwencji (dodatkowe wyniki). Zrekrutujemy około 150 pracowników NHS (za pośrednictwem Towarzystwa Intensywnej Terapii, mediów społecznościowych i bezpośredniej reklamy NHS Trusts) z natrętnymi wspomnieniami traumatycznych wydarzeń, których doświadczyli podczas pandemii COVID-19.

Kryteria przyjęcia:
- Wiek 18 lat lub więcej.
- Potrafi czytać, pisać i mówić po angielsku.
- Pracował w roli klinicznej z pacjentami z COVID-19 w NHS podczas pandemii COVID-19.
- Doświadczyli co najmniej jednego traumatycznego wydarzenia związanego z ich pracą kliniczną podczas pandemii COVID-9, spełniając kryterium A Diagnostycznego i Statystycznego Podręcznika Zaburzeń Psychicznych, wydanie 5 (DSM-5) kryteria zespołu stresu pourazowego (PTSD): „narażenie do faktycznej śmierci lub groźby śmierci, poważnych obrażeń lub przemocy seksualnej” przez „bezpośrednie przeżycie traumatycznego wydarzenia (wydarzeń)” lub „osobiste bycie świadkiem wydarzenia (zdarzeń), które miało miejsce u innych”.
- Doświadcz natrętnych wspomnień traumatycznych wydarzeń.
- Doświadczył co najmniej trzech natrętnych wspomnień w tygodniu poprzedzającym badanie przesiewowe.
- Mieć dostęp do internetu.
- Chętny i zdolny do wyrażenia świadomej zgody i przeprowadzenia pełnych procedur badawczych
- Chęć i możliwość kontaktu zespołu badawczego w okresie studiów.
- Nie brałem udziału w poprzednim badaniu tej interwencji przeprowadzonym przez ten zespół badawczy

• Mieć mniej niż trzy natrętne wspomnienia podczas tygodnia wstępnego.

The last two items ask how the brief cognitive task could be improved, and for any other comments or suggestions about the brief cogntive task, both with an open response.

The last two items ask how the brief cognitive task could be improved, and for any other comments or suggestions about the brief cognitive task, both with an open response.
A total score of the eight categorical items is presented (range 0 - 80), with greater scores indicating more favourable feedback towards the allocated digital task.
