Shared Services Associate Internship

The Medpace Shared Service Internship Program is a flexible, paid, professional development opportunity that offers hands-on finance and accounting experience. Internships are in-person and will vary in scope by department. Our interns will:

• Build experience in processing of expenses, vendor invoices, project contracts and sponsor invoices. • Gain skills, meaningful work experience and targeted educational opportunities to develop business administration skill base• Learn to clearly communicate in a financial environment• Opportunity to potentially rotate across Shared Service teams

Positions are available in the following Shared Services Teams:

• Expense Auditing

• Vendor Invoice processing and Project Contract Setup• Sponsor Invoice Generation

Flexible Employment Dates:

• August to December 2022 (Fall)• Intern opportunities to be staffed and defined as applicable

• Manage the processing/calculation of billings for assigned customer base
• Generate monthly reporting for internal and external customers
• Manage project setup and review within accounting systems based on contracts and out of scope activities;
• Manage AP process within Medpace accounting systems
• Audit all expense reports and vendor invoices to ensure adherence to Medpace policies
• Maintain knowledge of appropriate Medpace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.

• Working towards Associate’s degree and prior work experience preferred;
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred;
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines; and
• Ability to work 8:30 - 5:00 Monday – Friday within an office environment, but with a flexible schedule during peak times.
