How will you make an impact?

The Finance Digital Transformation team is at the forefront of business transformation, implementing technology solutions such as Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. As we drive standardization, simplification, and productivity gains across the Finance function, we are seeking an Analytics Manager to lead this evolution.

The BI Manager – Financial Intelligence will be working closely across the entire matrix of divisions and functions – primarily serving the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) as a new resource for Financial BI reporting solutions. You will be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of data solutions for financial reporting and insights – with customers across levels and technical backgrounds – all in service to drive scalable and insightful reporting solutions that drive overall efficiency, productivity, and revenue. The ideal candidate will have strong business / financial competence and communication skills, combined with experience in data analytics and reporting tools, and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal customers to identify standard processes and problems in their workflow – translating into scalable analytical and reporting solutions.

  • Leverage reporting tools (primarily Power Bi) to develop and maintain central financial reporting dashboards.

  • Lead reporting solutions from ideation, development to end user training.

  • Ensures that proposed architectures and designs follow industry standard methodologies and are efficient.

  • Apply advanced DAX formulas for impactful data analysis, training, and guiding team members on DAX usage.

  • Identify predictive drivers, leading indicators, patterns, outliers, and trends for enterprise-wide business insights.

  • Provide expertise in data warehouse architecture and infrastructure maintenance.

  • Build data governance with scalable processes, refresh scheduling, security, and monitoring of report quality.

  • Enhance the analytics community through interaction, feedback mechanisms, and training.

  • Conduct training sessions for PowerBI, DAX, and advanced analytics, encouraging a culture of continuous learning within the team.

  • Build and manage multiple projects, including milestones, deliverables, and communications.

  • Collaboration among teams to drive hybrid Automation + Analytics projects.

  • Engage with customers to understand analytical requirements and present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, driving innovation within the team, fostering a culture of collaboration through proactive communication, and exhibiting effective people management by supervising and mentoring team members.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in a reporting / data analyst role with progressive responsibilities and scope

  • 1+ year management and mentoring technical talent experience.

  • Expertise in data reporting tools (Power Bi preferred), programming languages (SQL, DAX, VBA, Python), and cloud stack technologies (AWS, Redshift, Azure AAS)

  • Experience in financial function preferred to best understand the data and customer base.

  • Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication

  • Consistent track record of achieving desired results without direct report authority.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology a plus

  • Knowledge of JIRA is a plus.

  • Minimal travel required
