Impact:

This Role will provide email marketing execution for IPAC and North America across Life Sciences Group, Laboratory Product Group, Bioproduction Group, Bioscience Division and Genetic Science Division. Not backfilling this role will significantly impact the ability to develop, implement and deploy email campaigns across the said business functions beginning Q2 2024. This backfill ensures the digital team can effectively operate in a cost-saving manner that rebuilds the digital capability within the regions.

The role will support email operations using various digital platforms and extend the scope to explore and learn the execution processes within other digital channels.

Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing operations team. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns and automation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email marketing, possess skills in marketing automation, and demonstrate a technical understanding of using data, automated journeys, and triggers to build engaging customer journeys.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of email campaign operations, including scheduling, list management, segmentation, and deployment
• Implement and maintain email marketing standard methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and privacy policies
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues related to email delivery, ensuring high deliverability rates and minimizing spam complaints
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accurate rendering of email templates across various email clients and devices
• Optimize email templates and workflows for efficiency, scalability, and performance improvement
• Stay updated with the latest email marketing trends, technologies, and industry standards to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain email marketing software and tools, ensuring accurate tracking, data integrity, and efficient workflows
• Provide training and support to internal customers on email marketing standard methodologies and tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Experienced in email marketing operations (3 to 6 years) preferably in a similar role
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Oracle Eloqua preferred) and marketing automation tools (Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) preferred)
• Proven understanding of email marketing standard processes, deliverability, list management and segmentation strategies
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email template customization is preferred
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) as a tool for data analysis
• Understanding of GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act regulations
• Excellent project management skills (Workfront knowledge preferred), with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication (English) and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Continuous learning attitude, staying updated with emerging email marketing technologies and trends
