Position Summary:

Software Test Engineer with shown automation experience to join our Software Engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing software test plans and test case solutions to address complex testing needs. Also, will be able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development and testing processes. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with agile development teams and Build relationships with development and testing teams across the enterprise.
  • Participate in Scrum team meetings and align with SDLC requirements for ticket management, testing artifacts, and documentation.
  • Be able to summarize and report on a development team’s progress against a testing plan and execution results.
  • Work with the most technically challenging components to create automated testing scenarios.
  • Write functional automated tests as part of our CI build-pipeline for acceptance of user facing features and tools. Integration between testing framework and CI/CD tools.
  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences.
  • Contribute to developing performance testing infrastructure.
  • Drive organization-wide adoption of automated testing framework.

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of Test Management systems, such as ALM Quality Center, Jira Xray or Azure Test Plans.
  • Defines high level test plans, creates test cases and implements them (both manually and automatically) for functional, integration, system and regression testing.
  • Knowledge of OOP design principles and experience in C#, Java and Phyton programming languages.
  • Good experience in GitHub, Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
  • Service-orientated architecture, micro-service testing or API testing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience writing and performing manual and automated tests on Desktop and web-based platforms.
  • Implementing and using automation frameworks in Web testing using Selenium and BDD frameworks as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  • Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban and related tools such as Atlassian Jira or Microsoft Azure DevOps.
