Position Summary:

Supporting market development and gaining new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive market development GSD projects pipeline, especially NPI products including dPCR and new genetic analyzer.
  • Present seminars and perform product demonstrations to a wide array of audiences; Attend conferences as a speaker.
  • Input and implement our strategy plan to develop new segment, new applications and new solution/workflow for target segmentation
  • Stimulate the out-of-box thinking growth culture cross SEA. Own the best practice-sharing and replicating successful market development model from one country to another.
  • Work with channels, marketing, application and BUs, R&D team to ensure successful resolution of workflow gap, solution gap.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies and support commercial organization with domain expertise at selected GSD SEA KOLs.

Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in life science is strongly preferred
  • Requires a minimum of 3+ years of laboratory or related work experience, 2+ year of customer-facing role; Working with Applied Biosystems QPCR instruments, assay and software preferred.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills in English are a necessity.
  • Experience providing technical and scientific presentations to wide range of audience is essential. Experience in a clinical, diagnostics market is additive.
  • Is customer-centric and keenly aware of markets, trends, and competitors.
  • Ability to work within a diverse, cross-functional team across multiple sites. Embrace and brings to bear diversity of culture and thought.
