Summarized Purpose:

The Research Tech Coord - PRN (NightShift) supports the day shift study conduction process for Phase I clinical studies. Collects study-specific data by performing technical and non-technical procedures like drawing blood, taking vital signs, and EKG's/ ECG's.

This is a PRN/ per diem role. 2-4days/ week and weekend availability preferred. Nightshift (7pm-7am, hours will flex). Pay $16/ hr shift differential.

Responsibilities: Drawing blood/ phlebotomy Taking vital signs EKG's/ECG's Provides general oversight of all technical procedures. Manages the assignment and coverage of all procedures to support the study conduction process for Phase I clinical studies. Monitors research technician performance. Collects study-specific data by performing advanced technical and non-technical procedures. Ensures training, quality assurance and compliance of research technicians.

Education and Experience: High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Technical positions may require a certificate

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General knowledge of the clinical research process General knowledge of Phase I clinic operations Proficient computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office Good written and verbal communication skills Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills Effective mediation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
