In the HR Manager role, you’ll be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with some of the brightest and most capable HR and Business Leaders in the industry. 

Our HR Managers are responsible for the delivery of HR consulting, coaching, and support to the Company’s people leaders in line with ICON’s standards and emphasis on a high performing culture. It is essential that this role exemplify and adhere to ICON's values in all actions, great and small.

The Role:

  • Responsible for the delivery of HR consulting services to a US-based clientele while aiding the overall contributions of the greater global HR organization.
  • Drive a culture of consistency and process improvement as a means to add value to our business partners.
  • Deliver complex case management in key areas such as discipline, performance management, redundancies, and other country-specific activities.
  • Responsible for management of employee relations cases leveraging knowledge of local law, ICON policy, and situational awareness.
  • Proactively work with people leaders in the region/service line to highlight and identify key trends and issues arising from data such as exit interviews, turnover reports, absence, and performance reviews and propose specific plans to facilitate improvements.
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners and COEs to support the implementation of people strategies/plans and corporate HR programs.
  • Build strong relationships with key people leaders to become a trusted partner in the delivery of their goals.
  • Work closely with the HR Service Centre Team as a point of escalation for employee relations, leave and ADA cases affecting employment status, and service line change management activities.
  • Occasional travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international as required.You will need:
  • An undergraduate degree
  • 3+ years HR generalist experience
  • Industry experience or experience in a service/billable environment in a large and/or complex organization preferred
  • Expertise in statutory compliance and employee relations
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Comfort with delivering presentations/trainings in an in-office or virtual environment
  • Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and Excel competencies
  • Must be able to work in-office no less than three days per week
