The position-holder will be responsible for leading and executing product strategy and providing marketing oversight of the company’s biological products portfolio for the research and clinical markets. The Global Marketing Director will interface extensively with the Global Sales team, R&D leads, Business Development, and Global Head of Cell Therapy. The marketing leader will also manage an established marketing, product management and marketing communications team

Essential Responsibilities:

• Research current R&D and cell therapy topics and develop marketing programs to create demand for all products and services.

• Review industry trends and market intelligence and use this information to expand current portfolio, and create new products and services,

• Create “white papers” and webinars including collaborations with our strategic partners.

• Create content for press releases including strategic partner collaborations and customer relationships.

• Ensure website content is current and cutting edge to drive maximum interest and lead generation.

• Analyze and evaluate global trade show opportunities and create strategy to maximize ROI.

• Expand knowledge of competition and develop competitive advantages.

• Maintain business intelligence to define industry trends.

• Provide input for strategy and projections for forecasting.

• Develop and execute customer-focused marketing programs to generate demand for human primary cells and cellular therapy products and services.

• Plan and optimize use of communication channels (i.e. print, email, social, blog) by balancing the advantages and tradeoffs to each, and selecting an optimal mix staying within budget and time constraints.

• Optimize how customers find our products; including SEO optimization, development of appropriate e-blasts and marketing campaigns, and updating web content to support and promote our products. Job Qualifications

• BS/BA required; MS or PhD in Life Sciences desired. High level marketing and/or product management leadership experience will be considered in lieu of advanced degree.

• MBA preferred.

• 3+ years in a director or manager level marketing and/or product management role for a life sciences or cell therapy company.

• 5+ years marketing and/or product management experience for a life sciences or cell therapy company.

• Experience launching new products and marketing programs.

• Experience utilizing marketing automation software.

• Experience with stage-gate/phase gate product development strategy and processes

• Dynamic leadership skills and creativity required.

• In depth knowledge of life science research markets with knowledge of competitors is desired.

• Strong communication skills as well as project management and planning skills necessary.

• Passion to push the envelope and create innovative techniques beyond traditional marketing.
