Real World Evidence Research Intern (Summer 2021)

This position will be 100% virtual.
PURPOSE
This intern will be responsible for assisting with Case Study development for the Medical and Scientific Services (MedSci) team, as well as other teams within Real World Evidence if time allows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review peer-reviewed publications and translate the information into 1-2 slide Case Studies that can be re-used by Principals and the Business Development team during the early Sales process.
  • Obtain final review/approval of Case Studies by the Principals/team involved in the scientific work, and will ensure Case Studies are stored in an easily-accessible and searchable format on an IQVIA Sharepoint site.
  • Re-format existing publications into the new IQVIA standard Case Study template to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Perform the July 2021 update to the MedSci publication list which involves literature reviews. 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s program – preferably focused in Business Administration or Healthcare/Life Sciences; or Masters in Public Health preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
