Job Description:

Our Clinical Trials Nurse Practitioner presents a unique opportunity to conduct interviews/teleresearch sessions and administering cognitive assessments to identify patients in the early stages of dementia and Alzehimer’s. Behavioral patterns will be monitored in accordance to the clinical trials study.

• Your primary focus will be to conduct teleresearch visits with participants/patients involved in the study.
• A desire to expand your talents in clinical trials/research
• Full-time position; 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
• The study is anticipated to be 1-2 years

Responsibilities:

Collect and conduct data in accordance with regulation and requirements.

Input reporting and event notes post assignment and refer any pertinent information to their supervisor program lead.

Established track record of success of timeliness and reporting ability.

Building customer relationships.

Job Requirements:

• BLS certification required
• Active RN License required
• Licensed nurse practitioner with clinical experience in gerontology
• 1-2+ years of experience
• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required
• Experience with Alzheimer’s and diagnosed MCI (mild cognitive impairment) patients not required but preferred
• Experience administering and documenting results from MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) testing not required but preferred.
• Must be willing to be in front of a camera and dressed professionally for participant engagements for multiple sessions in a single day
• Access to reliable and high-speed internet to conduct and administer teleresearch events
• Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting on technology when engaged with participants
