Job Summary We are seeking aAssociate Director, Alliance Managementfor ourCorporate Functionssite located inWilmington MA.The Associate Director, Alliance Management will provide support for external and internal clients. Work in collaboration with various staff to ensure quality customer service is provided. Facilitate and contribute to organizational development to enhance customer experience and business growth and develop client-specific strategy. Resolve complex issues independently and escalate as appropriate. Ensure communication with all stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the Alliance Management function to ensure effective execution of all multi-resource interactions

• Facilitate complex non-scientific discussions to ensure alignment and resolution to client challenges

• Ensure issues are managed and resolved both internally and externally and serve as a mediator as appropriate

• Provide, monitor and manage client expectations and deliverables

• Empowered to make decisions and elevate concerns

• Manage and prioritize the overall program through demand scheduling

• Optimize work schedules by enabling multi-site connectivity

• Provide project updates as needed

• Serve as the client advocate while balancing the internal needs of Charles River

• Identification and implementation of best practices (logistics, communications, deliverables, etc.) to optimize Charles River’s ability to service the client

• Support the expansion of additional services being used by clients by providing market and client needs to the Sales Organization

• Ensure alignment and standardization of processes, proposals and requirements in support of site cohesion and strategic pricing

• Key conduit for communication to and from the client

• Required and expected to instigate involvement as deemed appropriate to maintain and enhance client relationships

• Serve as a change agent, build and motivate teams and foster positive relationships with and among team members

• Lead Alliance Management Team activities

• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in science, business, marketing or related discipline.

• Experience: Eight to nine years related experience, preferably in a life sciences company and/or multinational corporation.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
