We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for a Nurse Educator to join our team of over 10,000 global field personnel supporting our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Position Summary

This unique opportunity for Oncology Nurse Educators will serve as a Client Implementation Manager” with the primarily responsibility of supporting clinical education and diagnostics support of assigned accounts in the territory. This role is also responsible for ensuring customer expectations are exceeded on all genomic test requests from initial generation to receipt of lab report.

The responsibilities include nurturing and fostering deep customer relationships, positioning our Client as the sole source for all relevant tumor profiling, and supporting the hospital sales team within new accounts, including identifying and establishing prospective accounts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years’ oncology experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or diagnostic industry with demonstrated success in customer management, clinical education, and driving organic growth at existing accounts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Regularly and consistently calls on customers to introduce and educate on assigned testing solutions including genomic testing, technology interfaces, physician consultations, etc
  • Ensure customer expectations are exceeded on all genomic test requests from initial generation to receipt of lab report.
  • Collaborates with team of Client Service Partners, Molecular Hospital Team, Regional Business Directors, and other support personnel to provide the highest level of customer support and satisfaction
  • Provides on-site and remote support to streamline testing process and connect with company resources to support proper hospital payment as appropriate
  • Interacts with existing customers to add value resulting in increased customer service to clients
  • Evaluates current and prospective customer sites and prepares strategies & programs to improve program penetration, effectiveness, costs, and productivity
  • Ability to present and demonstrate different technology solutions
  • Establish a frequent communication schedule with Hospital Team, Client Services and management to exchange client feedback, success stories, challenges and best-practices
  • Provide timely updates on field insights and activity via CRM
  • Develop and maintain practical knowledge of competitive products, services, technology solutions, and reimbursement/billing issues
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with key personnel in assigned accounts and escalate issues when customer satisfaction issues arise
  • Demonstrates practical knowledge of molecular profiling technology solutions and competitive strategies through the use of company resources, education material, brochures and on the job experience
  • Meet all assigned targets and goals set by program management
  • Provide meeting and trade show support as required
  • Supports physicians with the complexity of the ordering and interpretation of the customer platform, and QC report quality/accuracy which may require access to detailed protected health information (PHI)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability towards solving problems, while working under pressure and effectively communicating these solutions to co-workers and customers
  • General understanding of business policies and practices
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of proprietary software programs
  •  Valid driver’s license issued in one of the 50 states of the United States with an acceptable driving record
  • Successfully passed applicable drug tests and background checks
  • Ability to travel as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • RN licensure required in state of residency or compact multi-state license
  • Current nursing license in good standing
  • 3 yrs. Oncology experience in healthcare to include hospital, home health, pharmaceutical or biotech
  • Nurse educator experience
  • Previous successful experience in an Institutional setting

The potential base pay range for this role is $120,000-$130,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
