The Functional Consultant will

  • Support sales in the pre-sales traject
  • Support the customer during the implementation or migration process
  • Deliver additional reporting and business services
  • Guard product quality & added value
  • Act according to the mission and the vision of the IQVIA Healthcare department

Core Result areas:

1/ Support pre-sales by:

  • Documenting USP’s of the IQVIA solutions
  • Documenting successful use-cases
  • Creating demo material
  • Create tools supporting Sales to prove added value of the IQVIA solutions
  • Schedule and conduct business requirement workshops and demos with end-users
  • Provide subject matter expert advice with focus on ROI to customers
  • Perform and document high-level business requirements definition and gap analyses

2/ Implementation:

  • Support customers in parameterizing & validating the IQVIA solutions
  • Has primary responsibility for the functional aspects of the customer projects
  • Work closely with the Technical Lead and other project team members to define and deliver project results

3/ Post-sale

  • Handle customer support issues
  • Guide the customer through the functional part of product upgrades & migrations
  • Apply the aftercare methodology to monitor customer satisfaction

4/ Service delivery

  • Execute billable reporting and business services related to the IQVIA solutions

5/Product ownership

  • Provide qualitative business documentation related to the IQVIA solutions (release notes, model usage, data lineage, headstart, report library,…)
  • Governance of the added value components of the IQVIA solutions
  • Gather and analyse product improvement suggestions and input from customers for the development roadmap
  • Work closely with the development team to validate improvements and new development

6/ Knowledge

  • Acquire, maintain and expand business expertise in order to add value to IQVIA's customers
  • Acquire, maintain and expand knowledge of various BI technologies (Cognos Analytics, Qlik Sense,…)

7/ Continuous Improvement

  • Improve and standardize functional analysis approach
  • Set-up and maintenance of knowledge base and wiki for customer

You have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master degree with 5 years of work experience as contributor in complex data driven software development environments (with preferably BI-knowledge)
  • 1 to 3 years supervisory experience
  • A customer-oriented personality with positive drive and a pragmatic, innovative approach
  • High interest in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation;
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Basis understanding of financial concepts
  • Mandatory knowledge Dutch, French, English
