Medical Technologist - Haematology (Entry & Experienced)

We are looking for a Medical Technologist at Medpace Reference Laboratories for our haematologydepartment. Due to our recent growth, we are in need of qualified and focused driven individuals, who play a pivotal role in research-based drug development within the pharmaceutical industry. You would have the unique opportunity to work on the laboratory side of the fast-paced medical world by conducting tests on blood, urine. • Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting;
• Expected to develop knowledge of federal regulations regarding clinical trials;
• Expected to develop knowledge of pre-analytical variables affecting clinical laboratory testing;
• Expected to develop knowledge of disease processes and correlation with clinical laboratory data;
• Perform laboratory investigations;
• Perform testing, documentation, validation and routine lab system operations; and
• Ensure validity of laboratory data reported.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology, option Medical Laboratory Technology and Certification by the National-level professional evaluation organization;
• Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and medical terminology;
• Experienced working with haematology and chemistry;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good command of both written and spoken of English;
• Able to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills and able to work independently;
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic;
• Sense of responsibility and being studious;
• Working accurate, solution-minded and handle stress with grace;
• Previous experience in a haematology area is a plus; and
• Working in rotation schedule: Monday - Friday and Tuesday – Saturday.
