Position Location: Swindon

Hours: Monday - Friday (8am-4pm)

How you will make an impact?

The Packaging Specialist is a pivotal role within the CMO technical team, leading small to large scale projects and liaising with client SME’s reflecting the requirements from technical transfer processes. As a member of the technical support team you will transfer existing process expertise into technical and production teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Technical management – maintains “point of contact” with the client on technical issues and coordinates any internal responses with the relevant resources.
  • Process documentation generation and approval.
  • Ensuring the process for products to be manufactured is set up and maintained in accordance with GMP, Standard Operating Procedures and other regulatory agency requirements.
  • Involvement in the equipment and process establishment and validation phases on through into routine commercial manufacturing.
  • Supporting the implementation of staff training and development programmes to assure proficiency
  • (suitably qualified and expert personnel) and support the achievement of objectives.
  • Provide training for TraceLink user access
  • Support Codesoft label development (Packaging Engineering Support for Line Test and Production)
  • Participates in weekly site and distributed team meetings
  • Align with all job-related safety and other training requirements.

How will you get here?

  • Packaging experience essential (with serialization systems desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills required to reconcile various reports to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Ability to work within and deliver critical timelines.
  • Ability to empower, communicate and lead cross functional teams to deliver project timelines
  • Experience working with databases and XML files.
  • Proficient with standard Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Experience functioning within a GMP environment desirable
