This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the US.

The Regional Marketing Manager, Unity Lab Services, drives the development and implementation of regional go-to-market strategies and tactics for analytical instrument services that drive growth and share gain across North America. The incumbent is accountable for crafting and operationalizing demand generation strategies for existing and new market segments by incorporating customer needs, competitive dynamics, portfolio positioning, product requirements, revenue forecasts, and profitability.

How will you make an impact?

Responsible for driving marketing initiatives and tactical implementation to grow sales and market penetration. Work closely with Sales and Field Service teams to capture feedback on market trends and competitive dynamics to deliver financial success. Working closely with our Global Marketing, Product Management, and Commercial Leadership teams, you will also have responsibility over the definition, and execution of tactical plans, to ensure continual business growth and sustainability in the region.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Service Marketing, this position will be a part of the Global Marketing organization. This role supports a critical part of our commercial strategy and will contribute to the overall success of the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) business within the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG).

What will you do?

  • Establish effective marketing strategies based on customer requirements, messaging, initiatives and launch targets for new service introductions (NSIs) to achieve revenue and contract attachment goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics targeting segments that drive demand generation, pipeline health and contract penetration.
  • Work with IES Global Market Development Managers to provide input to global strategy and drive tactical programs and projects, localize as needed for NAM region.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to develop and deliver sales training programs and materials for regional sales teams.
  • Implement marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to increase awareness and lead generation for service offerings to drive sales within the region.
  • Organize and coordinate regional events, including trade shows, conferences, and seminars, to showcase our services.
  • Implement digital-based nurturing programs and telemarketing campaigns targeted at instrument install base to generate and qualify leads to strengthen sales pipeline.
  • Deliver monthly review of marketing objectives vs plan and produce marketing critical metrics to ensure achievement of the marketing plan. Take action to address underperformance and proactively optimize programs to exceed targets.
  • Influence the creation of content for marketing collateral including white papers, presentations, case studies, eBooks, protocols, videos, selection guides and customer success stories.
  • Conduct market research and voice of customer (VOC) for data driven decision making by acquiring market information via surveys, market analysis, focus groups and customer feedback to recommend process improvements.
  • Monitor competitive market trends and deliver critical insights that enable high-impact actions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management and/or science.
  • Experience in a global marketing, regional marketing, or commercial role, preferably within a services environment.
  • 5+ years experience driving marketing programs and campaigns that result in marketing return on investment with a direct impact to revenue.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated competency to plan, implement and measure with a strong sense of urgency to drive strategy to action.
  • Successful track record of achieving results through and in collaboration with others.
  • Self-starter, capable of working with minimal guidance.
  • Travel up to 25%

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,000.00–$154,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
