ThermoFisher is looking an individual who has solid knowledge and experience of Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) Technical Architect to join us. The successful candidate will be a part of Master Data Management Group and process transformation initiatives. This candidate must be able to work with a high level of independence and able to rapidly take and assimilate work from other teams. The applicant will also support corresponding functions such as Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Integration.

How you will make an impact:

  • Lead the maintenance and improvements of EDMCS (Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services)

  • Design and implement custom properties and configurations to meet specific business requirements.

  • Develop and implement robust validation rules and mechanisms to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance within EDMCS.

  • Create efficient data extraction processes to facilitate the seamless movement of data to GLA, HFM, PCMCS and EPBCS.

  • Lead integration efforts to establish smooth interoperability between EDMCS and other enterprise applications, ensuring data consistency and coherence.

  • Design and optimize workflow processes to ensure meaningful data governance to maintain data integrity and improve overall efficiency.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, encouraging continuous learning and development in EDMCS customization and data management practices.

  • Provide solution to data and metadata load errors

  • Partners with business teams to understand requirements of new business initiatives.

  • Partner with IT to implement system solutions based on requirements.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Demonstrated ability of Master Data Management tools full lifecycle implementation

  • Extensive experience in customizing properties, designing validation rules, creating data extraction strategies, and integrating EDMCS with various enterprise systems.

  • Proficiency in workflow design and optimization within the EDMCS environment to streamline data management operations and improve efficiency.

  • Extensive experience in performance optimization of the EDMCS system.

  • In-depth understanding of EDMCS Data Chain mechanism and deep technical knowledge ensuring the security and integrity of critical data transactions.

  • Deep technical competence and with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams and customers.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $118,600.00–$177,850.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
