Location Specific Information:

We are now looking for Sr Training specialist, hybrid or office-based in our office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The Senior Training Specialist will be focused on delivery and tracking of training to new and existing PPD staff. They will serve as a subject-matter guide to deliver and improve learning products, programs and services. We are looking for someone to improve corporate readiness, performance and quality proactively, measurably and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Proactively collaborates with project and program leads and management to prepare, prioritize, coordinate, document and/or provide expert development and delivery of learning products and services to improve content retention and support business outcomes and industry compliance.

• Develops varied support materials, presentations, training programs, tools, simulations and/or micro learning components and modules to support the department's remit and strategy.

• Leads small to medium scale initiatives and projects that mature key learning program capabilities and refine internal processes for the business and within the department.

• Provides expertise by leading the development and delivery of informative, training and learning products and services for the business.

• Provides coaching and mentoring of team members on standard processes and adaptive methodologies supporting learning products and services.

• Performs special projects, assignments and administrative tasks per business needs.

• Provides “train-the trainer” sessions and Q&A support for management staff regarding development materials. Provides individual and small group training consultations.

• Delivers trainings to an internal or external audience in the classroom, small group sessions and/or individual sessions.

• Leads individual and group performance during delivery.

• Handles appropriate documentation (i.e. assessments, Training Attendance Log, workplace aids, etc.), including copying, sorting and filing.

• Enters and maintains instructor data in appropriate system for classes delivered. May develop, implement or deliver e-learning.

• Trains, observes and mentors new trainers globally.

• Represents the organization externally (i.e.training audits and BD activities including delivery of client specific training regionally or globally).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of project management standards and practices

• Strong consultancy skills and ability to positively influence business outcomes • Comprehensive ability to translate complex issues into actionable and comprehendible business solutions

• Close attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to deliver high quality work within project timelines

• Proven ability to develop and deliver learning products, services and solutions in a collaborative and cross-functional global environment, with an understanding of the user perspective

• Comprehensive digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual training delivery platforms and various learning design and development software

• Extensive ability to query, compile, enter, supervise and maintain data and records management systems

• Comprehensive oral presentation and written communication skills

• Proven excellent and engaging presentation skills • Demonstrated ability to skillfully deliver a variety of corporate/departmental/client programs and learn new material

• Proven track record to attain and maintain an advanced knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and applicable SOPs

• Excellent interpersonal and consultation skills and ability to lead projects in a team environment as needed
