We are seeking a Finance Manager for our Microbial solutions division at Bangalore.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  Accounting operations - Heading an accounting team in the daily accounting activities, accounting verification process/ operating of accounting systems - recording and accounting for all revenues for invoicing, receipting, banking etc. And reporting on overdue amounts. Coordinate and supervise all financial and accounting activities at HO and branch offices. Independent handling of entire books of accounts and related management reporting, banking, statutory and audit activities. Monitoring of All Branch office expenses. To track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement. To complete GST Tracking mechanism and TDS deductions process. To prepare financial statements viz, P&L account, balance sheet and annual reports. Cost controls taxations (filling returns and assessments), returns, and finalization of accounts. To compute & arrange for timely deposit of taxes and filing of returns for timely completion of assessment and ensuring statutory compliance. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans. Develop trends and projections for the company financials in order to assist with decision making. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports. Working knowledge of US GAAP and Indian GAAP. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met. Processing overseas payments. Arranging for advance income tax payment within due date. Manage the preparation of the company's annual budget and monthly forecasts. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  Job Qualifications   5 to 10 years of experience required. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills to liaison with various departments within the company. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
