Are you passionate about making a difference within the Life Science segment? If so, you might be the person we are looking for! This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to transition into a sales position who have background in customer service, sales, and Life Sciences experience. The Sales Development Program (SDP) within our Biosciences Division (BID) is crafted to accelerate the careers of high potential individuals from lab, sales and with a minimum of 2 year post college work experience in laboratory and/or sales to prepare them for immediate territory management within the organization.

A Day in the Life:

Learn the Biosciences product portfolio, build sales skills, develop business acumen, and successfully complete the training program. Upon program completion you will be prepared to compete for a sales professional territory role within the Biosciences commercial organization.

What to expect:

  • Commercial and product training with hands on experiences
  • Job shadow with sales colleagues and subject matter experts
  • Partner with dedicated leaders and mentors
  • Networking and exposure to commercial and other business leaders
  • Virtual, face to face sales, communication, systems training
  • Attend and complete web-based trainings
  • Field shadowing with Sales colleagues
  • Attend Professional Selling skills internal training
  • Establish relationships with your assigned group mentors and collaborate with your hiring cohort.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences essential, Advanced Degrees or beyond is desirable

Experience

  • 3+ years of work experience in a research laboratory and/or sales/service related experience
  • Experience in customer facing positions, working in a team dynamic
  • Proven ability to strategize and achieve results

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Willingness and ability to relocate to any major US hub upon completion of the program, essential
  • Relevant scientific experience (e.g. understanding of cell biology, protein biology, molecular biology)
  • Computer proficiency (e.g.. MS Office)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
