Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with teams from different departments to effectively implement new products and service strategies.
  • Compete in a fast-paced environment to deliver exceptional service and support to our valued customers.
  • Perform meticulous diagnostic assessments, proactive maintenance, and preventive measures.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring their equipment operates at peak performance.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Provides onsite commissioning of instruments, repairs, upgrades, updates, and preventive maintenance.
  • Displays integrity, understanding, tact, fairness, and technical knowledge in all customer interactions.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
  • Follows policies that pertain to the handling of spare parts: ordering, usage, returns, physical count, trunk stock management, etc.
  • Maintains technical proficiency level for servicing our instrument line-up by reviewing instrument manuals/technical documents, attending trainings, and participation in team meetings.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology, chemistry, or a related field. Equivalent work experience and knowledge can substitute.
  • Typically requires approximately 2+ years hands on technical experience installing, solving, repairing and calibrating complex analysis tools such as SEM, TEM, FIB, Prober, or similar systems.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex scientific equipment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
