CRS Questionnaire Validation Study for Chronic Rhinosinusitis Patients

The CRS Questionnaire Validation Project aims to develop and validate new diagnostic tools for assessing chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) patients' condition severity and disease control. This observational study will evaluate two novel questionnaires against established measurement tools like SNOT-22 and VAS scores in a large cohort of 1,000 adult patients across Europe.

Key objectives of this research include:

• Creating validated questionnaires specifically designed to capture CRS patients' perceived disease status
• Testing the new tools in routine clinical practice settings
• Comparing results with existing diagnostic standards (EPOS criteria)
• Establishing potential new gold standards for CRS assessment

Conducted by The European Forum for Research and Education in Allergy and Airway Diseases, the study focuses on adult patients with physician-confirmed CRS (with or without nasal polyps) who haven't had recent sinus surgery. Participants will complete a comprehensive set of questionnaires during a single visit, eliminating the need for follow-up appointments.

The research methodology involves:

1. Patient-reported outcome measures through multiple validated tools
