Oracle EBS Principal Finance Developer

The Oracle EBS Principal Finance Developer’s responsibility is to work with the Oracle EBS Finance 12.2.4 systems functions and other systems of the company related to finance and to ensure it aligns with the business objectives of the organization. This individual’s principal goals are to develop and manage application solutions for finance related systems within the organization.

The principal systems analyst will plan, coordinate, and design to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prearranged time frames and budgets. The principal systems analyst of IT will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost -effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

The successful candidate will have strong Oracle EBS Finance & Project accounting implementation skills.

Key Accountabilities:

Accountability Supporting Activities

Effective Requirement collection and analysis Be a key member of the e-Business management staff and collect requirements for the projects initiative with in Finance systems and work with cross-functional teams that include product management, program management, QA, and development

Effective Solutioning

• Primary responsibility to Work with developers to ensure that the platform implementation is maintainable and extensible to accommodate future development and maintenance.

Ensure Compliance with SDLC Standards/Best Practices • Ensure that any relevant software development and in particular security standards are adhered to by the team.

• Maintain and evolve an efficient and effective, R&D development processes that is in-line with the Consumer Product Life Cycle (currently Agile Scrum).

Support Finance Related Systems • Work with Product Managers and Owners to interpret new requests from a broad set of cross functional stakeholders.

• Ability to co-ordinate across groups including motivating, developing and coordinating team members

• Ability to work with upper management with Director level and above to discuss IT strategies among other development Directors including reporting and operational teams (L2 -Support) related to finance systems.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Design, develop, test and implement features and code using Oracle EBS software

• Help End Users Understand application features to accomplish their business purposes

• Partner with Database and Middleware Administrators to achieve great application performance

• Demonstrate advanced skills while coaching and mentoring less senior team members

Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study.

• Minimum of 7 -10years using Oracle EBS.

• Minimum of 7 -10 years ERP Systems.

• Minimum of 7 -10 years' experience working with Procurement,Fixed Assets, AP, General Ledger and Oracle Projects Billing and costing.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call development rotation 24x7x365.

• Full lifecycle experience on 2+ web application development projects.
