Job Summary The department of Chemistry consists of approximately 120 employees, divided over different sections such as Analytical and Physical Chemistry, BioAnalysis and Environmental Fate. The department is specialized in method development and validation for the analysis of amongst others pharmaceuticals, polymers, agrochemicals in a diversity of matrices.

 

The Environmental Fate section focuses on environmental chemistry projects. The behaviour and metabolism of test items is assessed in diverse compartments such as soil, water sediment and animals (ADME studies). These studies are performed using radioactively labelled Test Items using techniques such as LSC, UPLC/HPLC-RAD and oxidizers.

 

To accomplish this challenging and varied work we are looking for: 

STUDY DIRECTOR Environmental Fate Chemistry 

 

 

Your Tasks:

As a Study Director you are responsible for the management, the performance and the scientific quality of your projects. You provide the interpretation and report the results to our clients. You work in close contact with these clients and you are able to build a good and lasting working relationship. Together with a team of specialists you are the prime contact for our clients for technical and scientific questions with regard to analytical chemistry.

 

 

Your Profile:

•    Preferably a MSc or PhD grade in analytical chemistry; a BSc with relevant working experience will also be considered.

•    Strong affinity with studies related to environmental science and working with radiolabeled compounds;

•    Good project management skills;

•    Experience in chromatographic methods is a pre;

•    Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a pro;

•    Good communication skills; 

•    Experience with GLP is a pre;

•    A critical attitude, customer-oriented, motivated and enthusiastic.
