With a mission to improve health and improve lives, Labcorp delivers world-class diagnostic solutions, brings innovative medicines to patients faster and uses technology to improve the delivery of care.  </p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><ul><li>Reports to Executive Director, Business Development, Bioanalytical Chemistry</li><li>Achieves annual Bioanalytical sales target for assigned territory</li><li>Has good technical understanding of bioanalysis for both small and large molecules</li><li>Understands and sells the business unit’s capabilities and differentiation frameworks and how to position against competitor offerings</li><li>Provides general intelligence on key competitors from client and market feedback</li><li>Develops account plans and partnerships with key accounts</li><li>Establishes, nurtures and grows client relationships at the appropriate levels</li><li>Maintains regular and frequent contact with clients, following up on leads generated internally from other business units and from external requests</li><li>Works with internal Bioanalytical Subject Matter Experts to help drive understanding of client requirements</li><li>Builds strong internal relationships across science, operations and commercial</li><li>Evaluates quotations for territory and provides input to ensure client and company requirements are met</li><li>Works closely with clinical and central lab business development colleagues to support clinical bioanalytical sales</li><li>Collaborates effectively with business development colleagues from other business units to bring potential opportunities to their attention and to identify and win multi-unit projects.</li><li>Collaborates with companywide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction</li><li>Sets and manages customer expectations</li><li>Organizes and hosts client visits.</li><li>Uses SFDC to manage internal communication and document territory and client information as required for the business unit</li><li>Responsible for Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline forecasting.</li><li>Participates in corporate teams to build relationships with key accounts.</li><li>Leads client presentations</li><li>Supports an established client base where appropriate</li><li>Travel to client sites, internal sales meetings and other Labcorp locations expected to approx. 50% with overnight stays as appropriate</li></ul><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences required</li><li>Industry knowledge of bioanalytical providers</li><li>Demonstrated ability to acquire and grow client base.</li><li>Demonstrated client retention skills.</li><li>Ability to manage difficult client and/or financial situations.</li><li>Ability to differentiate Labcorp BioA from competitors.</li><li>Strong working relationship with internal Labcorp management and site leadership</li></ul><h2>Experience:</h2><ul><li>4-5 years’ sales (or relevant) experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech section with direct interaction with mid-level and executive level decision makers</li></ul>
