  Job Summary:  

We are currently seeking to hire an Laboratory Specialist for our Immunochemistry team located in Ville St-Laurent. 

How will you create an impact?

The Immunochemistry department mainly analyzes serum, plasma, and tissue samples to verify the concentration, toxicity, and stability of assay substances (large molecules) in order to determine the safety and efficacy of drugs.

Work Schedule & Salary:

Permanent, full-time position from Monday to Friday.

Please note that training will be conducted at our Senneville location (West of Montreal).

Transportation:

Shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de Bellevue train station and from John Abbott College to the Senneville location.

Free parking. What will you work on?   Order products (biological, chemical and radioactive) and laboratory supplies. Follow up regularly with the purchasing department and / or suppliers to ensure delivery times. Receive, complete documentation, label and store products according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Manage and control the inventory in order to always have the products and supplies in sufficient quantity. Provide alternatives in the event of a shortage. Track and control costs. Effectively manage storage areas. Follow safety rules and wear the personal protective equipment required for laboratory work. Work closely with team members and other departments.

Who are we looking for?

Post-secondary education or relevant experience.

Expertise in the medical or pharmaceutical sector is an asset.

Ability to work under time constraints, outstanding organizational skills, and ability to adapt to changes. 

Autonomous, have a collaborative spirit and be positive.

Show initiative.

Manage priorities.

Be good at interpersonal relationships and work in a team.

Proficiency in Excel software. 

Reading and writing English is required. Bilingualism is an asset.
