Discover Impactful Work:

The Program Manager provides Site Leadership and proactive client relationship management, to enable retention, growth and long term mutual business partnership. They will develop long-lasting client relationships based on timely service delivery. This role maintains client relationships, with a focus on delivering an excellent customer experience through creative problem solving and cross-functional collaboration!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main client relationship manager for assigned programs for all services ongoing at site in PDS and/or commercial.
  • Lead strategic operational aspects of large scale development and commercial projects / programs with the client and project management teams to ensure timely, coordinated, risk mitigated delivery of projects and services.
  • Coordinate site-wide resources to provide comprehensive solutions, based on the entire product and services portfolio across the site. Identify and analyze partner needs and manage expectations and communication to nurture partner support.
  • Plan, analyze, and assess client business potential, provide development proposals working in partnership with assigned Project/Business Managers executives and development teams, and assist with the formulation of plans for growth, AOP and strategy of new service lines.
  • Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of clients by acting as a client experience champion in the organization.
  • Lead client business review process, QBR’s, Quality reviews, meetings and workshops with overall collation assessment monitoring of actions, business performance metrics and targets.
  • Lead and facilitate client problem and solution escalation process, serving as a liaison with Site Leadership to ensure effective solution/resolution. Leverage Client Support Case process as appropriate.
  • Assist in revenue collection where required. Facilitate open items with large financial impact to closure. Facilitate cross-selling activities either upstream or downstream to existing contracted services.

How will you do it?

Education/Experience

  • B.S. in Science/Engineering or related field relevant to role required.
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • 8 years of previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 5 years within a GMP environment.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and outsourcing, including use of SOPs required by Quality standards.
  • Outstanding client service orientation, interpersonal skills and business insight.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, with strong analytical and organizational skills to handle contending priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of site functions and a deep understanding of the relationships and processes requiring integration among departments within the business.
  • Ability to optimally use a range of influencing and leadership styles, situationally dependent.
  • Ability to assess situations and make clear timely decisions, achieving results that support all parties.
