As an Investigator Grant Analyst you will manage the preparation, review and finalization of global investigator grant budgets and payment schedules across multiple studies. You will liaise with clients and internal PPD functional teams to establish effective relationships.

Responsibilities:Assists in the development of investigator grant budget grids for applicable countries in assigned studies inclusive of coordination with therapeutic and operational subject matter experts, as appropriate, to ensure proper grant developmentDrafts applicable payment terms and condition templates for investigator grant budget gridsCoordinates internal/external approvals and feedback to investigator grant budget grids and payment schedulesProvides support for escalations with external clients for investigator budget development, process and negotiation parametersProvides approved investigator grant grids and payment schedules, process and negotiation parameters to local teamsCoordinates with internal departments to ensure various site startup activities are aligned with investigator grant activities and mutually agreed upon timelines; ensures alignment of investigator budget negotiation process for sites and study are properly aligned to the critical path for site activationAdheres to PPD’s target cycle times for site activationsCompletes tracking and reporting as required.At PPD, we hire the best, develop ourselves and each other, and recognize the power of being one team. Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years’)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Basic understanding of the principles of investigator grant template draftingCapable of reviewing and analyzing a protocol schedule of events to draft applicable budget grid and payment schedules therefromBasic understanding of the pharmaceutical product development process and involvement of CROsGood oral and written communication skillsGood attention to detailGood math skillsCapable of working independently or in a team environmentGood organizational and time management skillsProven flexibility and adaptabilityBasic proficiency with negotiation and conflict managementPossesses cross cultural awareness and is able to adapt appropriatelyGood customer service skills, demonstrating a customer focused style of communication, problem solving and collaborationBasic experience with automated systems and computerized applications, such as, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.Capable of acting independently and leading functional studies with general oversight
