Manager, Project Quality & Risk Management

Job Purpose:Provide leadership and management to other Project Quality & Risk Management staff. Innovate andimplement quality improvement opportunities at the project, client, operational, department, or cross-department level.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategy and direction for PQRM staff.
- Contribute to and support PQRMspecific risk management utilizing all available tools/dashboards.
- Oversee and support PQRM staff to comply with Parexel standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to oversee and support audits & inspections, representing Parexel Quality when requested, and serving as an escalation point for critical issues.
- Provide solutions-focused quality consulting.
- Develop and cultivate transparent quality relationships, while managing expectations with client qualityrepresentatives, including when needed fulfilling the role of Portfolio Quality and Risk Lead.
- Attract, recruit, retain, and develop PQRM staff.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement of the Quality Management System by submitting feedback on processes, and participating in the process improvement initiatives as requested.
- Maintain compliance with Parexel standards
- Mentor and develop PQRLs

- Expert project manager with strong organizational and planning skills, and competency in risk management with thoughtful action planning.
- Personal awareness and emotionally intelligent, ability to self-motivate, innovate, delegate, and manage time as well as taking ownership and accountability for deliverables.
- Robust Skills in interpreting, synthesizing, inferring, evaluating, and extracting pertinent data to identify areas of risk, trends, and aggregated issues.
- Highly Adaptable to changing environments, able to think quickly, able to deal with ambiguity, and learn new tasks applying routine knowledge.
- Quality-oriented with an attention to detail, taking initiative, ownership, and accountability for deliverables.
- Expertise to manage the complexity of a matrix environment while valuing the importance of teamwork.
- Ability to travel 10%- 15%
Knowledge and Experience:
- a few years of experience in clinical research
- 1+ years of experience managing people
- Expertise in ICH-GxPs
- English proficiency (written and oral)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or other relevant experience required. Life science or other health-related discipline preferred.
- Master’s Degree in a science, technology, or industry-related disciple preferred.
