  Job Summary We are seeking a General maintenance technician for our General Maintenance department site located in Senneville (Greater Montreal area) in Canada, to provide the company with the expertise and professional services related to carpentry, design and fabrication, painting, repairs in the vivarium, support office moves, etc.

 

The following are responsibilities related to the General maintenance technician:

Design and Fabrication (5%) Read and understand schematics, plans, equipment specifications required for fabrication. Be able to interact with the client to developed concept, ideas and possible design. Able to dimension and take accurate measurements. Capable of design and build custom laboratory furniture to meet study requirements, repair and modify existing laboratory furniture. Able to use a diversified number of wood working tools for fabrication. Able to work with HDPE, lexan and other similar materials. Able to work under pressure. Able to finish projects within the delays required by the user. Able to work in the Vivarium respecting GLP guidelines.

Painting (75%) Main task, be able to help the GM staff with painting and gypse repairs.

Office moves (10%) When need it, support the GM staff to displace or relocate office furniture.

Outdoor maintenance (5%) When required, support the GM staff in the upkeep of our outdoor grounds.

WO request (5%) Support the GM staff in resolving WO related requests when necessary
