In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service in support of the Hospital Clients. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Work Schedule: Monday-Friday hours vary between 7am-7pm, additional days and hours may be required based on business needs</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Location: </span></strong><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">550 17th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Full Time: </span></strong><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Benefits Eligible</span></p> <p style=""><strong><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Job Duties/Responsibilities: </span></strong></p> <ul style="margin-top: 0.0in;"> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Check for all voicemail and text messages</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Monitor employee absenteeism and ensure route coverage is complete.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Monitor necessary vehicle repairs, follow up with the auto repair facility to ensure that vehicles are being repaired in a timely manner, notify supervisor or manager.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Check and ensure all key rings for all routes are accounted for.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Distribute reports and supplies to the correct bins or routes</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Review the previous day's evening shift report for any concerns, (i.e. potential missed pickups, accidents etc) Follow up and contact locations of any missed pickups; confirm the status of each incident and record all information on the dispatch communication log of the action taken; if locations closed, continue to call at regular intervals. Make necessary arrangements for any pickups needed. Report this information to Courier Services Manager or Supervisor.</span></li> </ul> <p style=""><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;"> <strong>ONGOING DUTIES:</strong></span></p> <ul style="margin-top: 0.0in;"> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Review supply deliveries list and supplies in supply hold; ensure dispatch hallway area kept clear; prepare couriers and shuttle drivers; maintain regular contact with supply personnel of dispatch supplies.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Assign vehicles, park card, route keys, etc to the couriers as they report in.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Respond to incoming STAT calls by dispatching either first to couriers or to out-source courier and monitor STAT turnaround times.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Ensure follow up of any concerns requested of the department throughout the day.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Ensure pre scheduled runs and pickups and delivers are started and completed.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Immediately communicate to Courier Services Manager or Supervisor any changes or customer request for updates to route sheets.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Communicate any changes to the route made the previous day to the Courier for acknowledgement by identifying the change on the run sheet before they depart.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Report immediately any vehicle accident to the Manager or Supervisor. Call police if necessary.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Maintain up to date attendance records and coverage calendar.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Ensure authorized personnel do not enter dispatch office; keep dispatch office area and desks neat and tidy at all times; keep accurate reports of all forms, logbooks, requests and route sheets readily available.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Effectively communicate unfinished items between shifts.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Fresh and updated route sheets must be prepared for next day by evening dispatcher.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Communicate to Central Processing supervisor of any delayed routes or courier changes</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Justify and obtain approval for overtime</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Communicate any delay or problems in air shipments to Manager or Supervisor.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: "Calibri Light" , sans-serif;">Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul>
