Job summary As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals within a given geographic territory for Charles River Security Assessment Services.

The Inside Sales Representative is a key contributor to the sales cycle supporting our entire sales organization while acting as the front line of our customer experience.  Prepare and implement a comprehensive territory management plan to identify new target accounts and targeted opportunities. Gather and organize data on potential customers. Handle inbound customer calls or emails, qualify leads and provide a timely response to the potential customer. Develop and qualify account leads through territory prospecting and frequent contact with outbound virtual customers. Build relationships with customers to influence acceptance and use of company services. Communicate available services and inform customers of new services in a timely manner. Work with management to prepare and provide accurate territory forecasts throughout the year to track achievements against goals. Work closely with client service operations, finance, legal and any other internal stakeholders relevant to the sales process. Gather data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and analyze competitors. Occasional travel may be required to attend sales meetings and trade shows as appropriate.  Collaborate with company-wide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction. Share customer issues/concerns with all appropriate departments for quality resolution. Assist in updating and maintaining applicable databases. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

  Job Qualifications Education:  Master’s degree (MS/MSc.) or equivalent in science, business or marketing related discipline. 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Proficient with customer relationship management software (i.e. SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics).

Language: English proficiency required. Italian is a plus.

Other:  Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail required.  Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
