We are seeking a Systems Administrator II for our Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility located in Memphis, TN. 

 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 

Work Hours: 2:00 pm.-10:00 p.m. 

 

The Systems Administrator II is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting the company’s computer systems and networks. You will also act as a liaison between the technical and non-technical employees within the company and various related entities. Candidates for this position must be team players and have strong customer service and communication skills, both written and oral. Exceptional organizational skills are necessary for this fast-paced growing environment.

 

The follow are the responsibilities related to the Systems Administrator II position: 

 

•    Setup, configuration, and deployment of VMWare, Windows, and Linux servers

•    Support and monitor LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems

•    Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches

•    Maintain network and system security

•    Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.

•    Author and maintain technical documentation for IT procedures and processes

•    Complete special projects as requested

•    May require work after hours, weekends, and travel to different company sites

•    Report to the IT Manager. Job Qualifications  

The following are the minimum qualifications related the Systems Administrator II position:

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field. Certifications such as Cisco CCNA preferred.

•    Minimum of 4 to 6 years prior experience in information technology field.

•    Strong Knowledge and experience with HTML, PHP, MySQL, Apache, Linux, Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Scripting, NetWrix, ESET Endpoint Security, Veeam Backup and Replication, Cisco ASA firewalls, switches and VPN, Avaya IPOffice PBX, VMWare ESXi, MS Office 2016, Microsoft365.

•    Ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional client service is required.

•    Excellent technical writing skills.

•    Proactive and committed to timely completion of action items and projects.

•    Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and use stairs.

•    Previous work with a biotechnology company a plus.
