Summarized Purpose: This role will act as Line manager for staff in assigned specialty area and or region (typically responsible for more than 1 country) in our Global HR team.

Essential Functions and Other Job Information: Essential Functions

  • Assign work to team members as needed.
  • Guides process updates.
  • Provides training/ tracks progress/ KPIs of employees.
  • Manages staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, and requests for leave, and overtime.

Qualifications: Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 5 years).
  • 1+ year of leadership responsibility
  • In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training , and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Solid understanding of HR administration processes preferably in shared services for HR
  • Knowledge of business process mapping, optimization, implementation, and audits
  • Knowledge in project management
  • Proficient in problem-solving and prioritizing
  • Works effectively with all levels of employees
  • Strong customer focus and ability to provide quality service via numerous channels, ie email, HR cases
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills for analysis and presentation of data
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal in English and local language as required.
  • Good interpersonal skills; Possess good listening skills and patience to work with all types of 
  • employees
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure

Management Role:

Directly supervises administrative support and/or technical staff.
