Role: Finance Transformation Senior Manager

Location: Dublin 18 (HYBRID)

The Role:

The Senior Manager Finance Transformation will work within the Financial Transformation team which is a department within the Financial Control Group.The role will support ICON’s financial systems integration strategy to ensure systems and processes are fit for purpose in supporting the Group’s financial management and governance requirements.Drive best practice solutions for system, process and people changes across the organisation.Facilitate system and process changes across Finance, assessing impacts, challenge changes and being central point for assessing changes impacts.Oversee delivery of key projects with responsibility for project managing key integration projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Project management of significant change projects across all key finance disciplines and liaising with operational colleagues on ensuring change impact is managed appropriately.
  • Provide leadership in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, initiatives, and processes across finance.
  • Work with teams to problem solve in the achievement of deliverables, on-time and on budget.
  • Strong capacity to communicate actions, implications of data and drive action.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with operational business partners.
  • Take responsibility for their own & others work within their functional area.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties, analysis and special projects as assigned
  • Preferably proficient in operating in and leading a strong SOX control environment, and providing guidance and direction to the wider group finance team for continuous improvement
  • Preferably proficient or accomplished in using best in class reporting tools and technologies
  • Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.

Experience requirements:

  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to project manager significant multi-disciplinary senior teams
  • Proven prior experience in finance process optimisation and automation
  • Experience in a range of best in class finance disciplines including e.g. systems change, best practice reporting etc
  • An ability to identify and lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of projects systems, initiatives and processes.
  • An ability to identify areas for improvement and best in class practice
  • A confident, decisive person with strong interpersonal skills
  • An accomplished professional who is tenacious and determined
  • An experienced high performing ACA, ACCA with minimum 8 years PQE
  • Prior IT and enterprise IT systems implementation experience (preferred)
