This is Line Manager role. 

What you will be doing:

  • Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON’s values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance
  • Responsible for management of administrative activities:
    • Training & Onboarding to ICON Organization
    • Conducting Routine 1:1 meetings with employees to review workload and career engagement and development
    • Training & Timesheet Compliance
    • Conducting Annual Performance Reviews
    • Review and Approval of Time Sheets & Expense Reports
    • Review and Approval of Time off Requests
  • Manage and develop ICON employees to ensure high quality work performance and retention of employees that meet or exceed expectations
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to identify and interview candidates for open positions
    • Based on interview performance submit candidates for client M&G consideration, if applicable
  • Conduct annual performance reviews, performance assessments, and management of performance concerns
  • Attend routine meetings with client management to review team member performance, per agreed upon job description 
  • Anticipate, recognize and assist with the resolution of issues within functional groups as they arise and escalate to client/ICON management as needed
  • Review of Assigned Project Workload:
    • Ensure assigned workload is appropriate and manageable
      • Escalate/ Discuss workload concerns with client management as appropriate
    • Conduct High-Level Review of Project Deliverables to ensure timelines are met. Provide high-level guidance to employees to ensure any potential delays are proactively communicated to client management
  • Collaborate with and support Client’s with strategic direction and initiatives, as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Contribute/Support ICON initiatives and projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, supply chain, health sciences or related field - Highly Preferred. 
  • 6-8 yrs. of relevant experience.
  • 2 yrs. of people management experience, preferred. 
  • Experience in clinical development and/or clinical supplies
  • Prior supply chain, logistics or clinical operations knowledge, preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations pertaining to clinical supplies including GMP and ICH/GCP guideline
  • Demonstrated high-level of initiative and ability to function independently
  • Proficient using computerized information systems including experience with PC- Windows, MS Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams SharePoint Sites, required
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language required.

Onsite Requirements: (Client Site)

1x a week in West Point PA

1x a month in Rahway NJ

Additional flexibility may be required to cover for managers who are OOO
