Job Description

DUTIES:

•           Managing project from inception to deployment, gathering requirements from scratch understanding business requirements and responsible for smooth delivery.•           Managing team, handling scrums, and guiding them technically, having thorough code reviews and encouraging for best coding practices.•           Looking after hiring for new resources, defining job description and posting on internal job portal, handling interviews feedbacks and their onboarding process end to end, managing contractors’ agreement.•           Handling employee’s timesheet, their leave request, appraisal process, approving their ServiceNow request, task management.•           Demonstrating innovative solution to teams in other areas which helps in reducing efforts and cost for whole organization.•           Lead and defined Devops Strategy across various projects in data platform.•           Lead and drive quality management projects in a fast-paced agile environment to addresssoftware system inadequacies to achieve continual quality improvement objectives.•           Defined best strategy for cloud automation and how to secure our applications.•           Develop test model and orchestration to speed up test execution using test automation.framework such tools.•           Implement application lifecycle management including, requirements management, testplanning and execution, defects tracking and reporting, test automation and results analysis.•           Create Dashboard and the KPI customizations for SDLC metrics reporting for testcoverage, and test release status.•           Develop test plan and test strategy for Thermo Fisher Enterprise applications.•           Lead user acceptance testing and coordinate with both business and technical teams.•           Act as a Quality advisor/consultant and participate in Thermo Fisher PPI projects.•           Participating in new tools POC, interacting with different vendors and identifying best tool per our use case.  Up to 5% domestic and international travel required                                                                                                                                   

REQUIREMENTS:                

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field plus 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, or any occupation in which the required skills can be obtained or related experience  Required knowledge or experience with:
