Technology Solutions are a key driver of IQVIA’s growth strategy and we provide differentiated solutions and strategy consulting to tackle the challenges Life Science companies face in achieving their commercial objectives. The offering ranges from technology solutions such as CRM, Multichannel Marketing, Performance Management and Master Data Management to consulting services, such as development of digital and data strategies as well as business process and customer engagement operating model design.

The Technology Solutions team cater to needs of UK affiliates as well as regional and global HQs, with projects ranging from local engagements to international (Pan-European and global) programs of work. Technology Solutions are expanding, and we are looking for curious, ambitious and innovative thinkers to join the team to help Life Sciences companies deliver better patient outcomes through our differentiated platforms and consulting services.

Overview of the role

As an Analyst, your key responsibility will be to ensure delivery excellence in line with contracted scope and in support of the engagement lead. You will participate in the design, development and delivery of consulting projects and work alongside experienced project leads within the technology team and other IQVIA business units. The cornerstone of this role is to support the delivery of projects to timeline, budget, and with flawless execution resulting in customer delight. Responsibilities will include gathering and reviewing client requirements and assisting in the development of project materials. There are three core requirements:

• Project management - Be responsible for specific tasks that deliver client value
• Strategicthinking – Feed into solution design or delivery strategy for bid approaches, establishing trust and credibility
• Sales enablement – Feed into the solution design and delivery methodology

Role and responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and effective project delivery to meet client expectations as part of the project team and under guidance and supervision of senior team members
• Create and feed into presentations, workshop developments and similar briefing/delivery techniques within project teams to ensure appropriate client delivery of standardised and ad hoc work
• Perform requirements gathering and analyses in order to provide high quality and detailed requirements for technology implementations
• Communicate, coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to progress project-related activities
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to input into client deliverables

Education, skills and experience required

• Minimum 2.1 Bachelor’s degree with moderate to in depth demonstrated related experience in tech consulting or life sciences consulting
• Proven experience in analytical, interpretative and problem-solving
• Track record of consulting experience, methods, tools and techniques
• Preferably experience in a consulting firm, ideally with healthcare and life sciences
• Experience in operating model design, business process design, digital strategy, multi-channel engagement, analytics and/or change management are a big plus
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
• Good presentation and communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written); strong business/scientific written English
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate determination and resilience
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within challenging timelines
• A commitment to working independently and collaboratively with others in and across the team
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to build credibility and influence external and internal contacts
• Understanding of project management with proven time management and personal organisational skills
