Inklusionskriterier:

  • Mænd og kvinder i alderen 18 år og ældre;
  • Villig til at give skriftligt informeret samtykke;
  • Skal have ukontrolleret hypertension defineret som: aktuelt ubehandlet med et diastolisk blodtryk større end 110 mmHg ELLER modtager i øjeblikket antihypertensiv monoterapi med et diastolisk blodtryk større end 100 mmHg. Monoterapi er defineret som behandling med én antihypertensiv medicin i mindst fire uger; fast kombinationsterapi repræsenterer ikke monoterapi;
  • Skal være villig til at seponere antihypertensiv medicin, hvis det er relevant;
  • Kvinder i den fødedygtige alder (WOCBP) skal bruge en passende præventionsmetode for at undgå graviditet under hele undersøgelsen og i op til en uge efter undersøgelsen på en sådan måde, at risikoen for graviditet minimeres.
  • WOCBP skal have en negativ serum- eller uringraviditetstest inden for 72 timer før start af studiemedicin.
