同種異系HCT後の死亡率を予測する際には、移植前の併存疾患が重要であることが研究によって示されている。
ただし、併存疾患の評価は診療所の医療チームや研究スタッフにとって負担となる可能性があります。 この調査研究は、併存疾患のコード化を容易にするために、標準的なチャートベースの方法に代わる新しい方法を探索し、検証することを目的としています。 この研究は、医療従事者の時間と労力を節約し、治療の意思決定、適切な HCT 戦略への患者の割り当て、ひいては HCT 転帰の精度を向上させるために、すべての臨床試験と転帰調査研究に併存疾患情報を確実に含めることを目的としています。
この研究では、併存疾患の評価を簡素化し、それによって HCT-CI の広範な使用を促進することを目的とした 2 つの並行したアプローチを調査します。 患者アンケートベースおよび請求ベースの方法は、チャートベースの方法に代わる可能な方法としてテストされます。 主要結果は非再発死亡率の予測です。 この併存疾患コード化の方法が検証されれば、学術機関以外の機関や地域の診療所の医師にも有益となることが期待されます。

包含基準:
- 自己または同種異系 HCT の対象となる患者。
- 英語を話し、読むことができる。
- インフォームド・コンセントを提供する意欲と能力がある。
- 診断、前処置療法の強度、ドナー移植片の種類、HLA 一致の程度、または幹細胞ソースに基づく制限はありません。
- 20歳以上の患者
- 研究関連の連絡のための電話へのアクセス。
除外基準:
- 英語の読み書き、会話ができない HCT 受験者。
- 20歳未満の患者
