FACT-M は、健康関連の生活の質 (HR-QoL) の領域、つまり身体的な幸福、社会的/家族の幸福、精神的な幸福、機能的な幸福、および黒色腫の追加の懸念を測定します。
合計スコアの範囲は 0 ～ 172 です。スコアが高いほど、HR-QoL が向上します。
最小二乗法（LS）の平均値は、治療グループ、サイクル、治療ごとの相互作用、年齢、東部協力腫瘍学グループ（ECOG）のパフォーマンスステータス、研究開始時の疾患の段階、および以前の化学療法に対する最良の反応に対して調整されました。
